Guidance for submitting articles on the Secondary Website |
|
The Secondary Website is now live on the world wide web and accessible through search engines such as google and other search facilities when submitting key words like Newham Secondary, Secondary Website, Secondary Newham etc. As the site is now widely used and our hit counter tells us that we are successfully recieving a large number of visitors per day, we should be aware of the type of information that we submit for the website and the language or text that we may use when submitting documents or articles for the site or the Secondary Newsletter as this is also published on the website. We would ask you to avoid submitting documents or text that may hold views or judgements on our schools, names of pupils and information that would generally be seen as sensitive, in other words, bear in mind that all material on our website is now in the public domain. I would also remind you that any pictures of young people submitted require permission and we are not able to publish pictures that have names of students. Please contact Shaz Rahman, Project Officer Secondary Standards - shaz.rahman@newham.gov.uk or 020 8430 5957 with any such contributions or if you have any general comments or ideas for the website. |
